Filderstadt, 05 July 2013 – As part of measures by Munich-based WEBMAXX GmbH to raise capital, All for One Steeb AG is taking over around 74% of the shareholdings, and in turn a majority stake in this Microsoft cloud technology company. Around 26% of the shareholdings remain with the managing partner Christian Schmidt, who will stay on as a member of the company’s management team. The participation agreement that was signed on 4 July 2013 also includes an option to increase the stake to 100% of the shares, which All for One Steeb can first exercise beginning from 2020. Both companies had previously been working together on a project basis.

All for One Steeb is the Number 1 in the German-speaking SAP midmarket segment with the largest customer base. In addition to SAP Business Suite, enterprises are increasingly considering their messaging software from Microsoft, such as for e-mail (Exchange) or collaboration (Sharepoint, Lync), as being mission critical. This is why we are seeing growing demands on stability, availability and reliability. Along with SAP landscapes, Microsoft solutions such as these are increasingly moving into the private cloud and being run and managed in the All for One Steeb high-end data centers. Extensive portal landscapes are being used to scale such services toward many thousands of users, and to provide customers with a high degree of customised and flexible usage, elasticity and combinability with public cloud services. Here is precisely where the technology specialist WEBMAXX has such exceptional expertise.

»Cloud computing is changing the CIO’s role. Application landscapes are increasingly being outsourced, which allows extensions and enhancements to be made more rapidly, flexibly and securely. Our strong customer focus enables us to identify and act on other key issues besides SAP Business Suite and SAP Cloud Solutions. Microsoft Exchange is clearly mission critical. Its operation is complex. Compliance requirements are expanding. Even the latest leaks about global surveillance operations may well reinforce the trend toward outsourcing to our data centers in Germany. This is an area in which we want to use the WEBMAXX technology expertise to more rapidly unlock additional scaling capabilities and growth potential«, said All for One Steeb CEO Lars Landwehrkamp. All for One Steeb was recently named a Microsoft »Gold Hosting« partner after completing an extensive qualification phase and in recognition of its innovative customer solutions and services on the basis of Microsoft Technologies.
