Filderstadt, 18 May 2026 – This year's SAP Sapphire event in Orlando confirmed it: SAP is placing a significant focus on Agentic AI, with the aim of not only managing business processes, but also executing them autonomously. The ultimate goal is the ‘autonomous enterprise’. However, AI innovations only realise their full potential through proper implementation. The All for One Group was officially recognised in Orlando for setting international standards in this area when it was honoured with the SAP Global Partner Award 2026 in the »SAP Business Suite Success« category.

At the customer conference in Orlando, SAP CEO Christian Klein unveiled a far-reaching transformation: SAP is no longer positioning itself primarily as a software company, but as a business AI company – with a new architecture that embeds AI directly into the company’s core processes

The announcements focus on three key areas: firstly, the autonomous enterprise and agentic AI. The SAP Autonomous Suite comprises over 50 domain-specific Joule assistants for finance, supply chain, procurement, human capital management and customer experience, which in turn orchestrate more than 200 specialised agents to execute end-to-end processes autonomously.

Secondly, the unified SAP Business AI Platform: it connects large language models directly with SAP’s ERP process expertise, built up over decades, and ensures a secure, regulated data foundation.

Thirdly, Joule Work and Joule Studio 2.0: Joule becomes the central control hub of the workplace – in future, employees will simply describe the desired outcome, whilst Joule coordinates the appropriate agents, data and approvals in the background. With Joule Studio 2.0, customers and partners will be able to develop their own bespoke AI agents for specific business requirements from June 2026.

However, the keynotes in Orlando also highlighted a clear limitation: AI does not deliver off-the-shelf value. SAP CEO Klein expressly emphasised that simply deploying AI agents does not in itself create business value – the transition to an autonomous enterprise requires serious change management and must be accompanied by process changes and user enablement. Those who have not done their homework on data quality, process standardisation and Clean Core will not be able to realise the full potential of the new AI agents.
