Application Operations & Hosting

You are responsible for hosting and ITIL-compliant operation of applications: from SAP and Microsoft to specific applications. Our services are SLA-based, highly available and reliable, in our ISO 27001-certified data centers, in co-locations or in the public cloud. We offer our customers all IT outsourcing services from a single source and as a managed service. Depending on customer requirements, you can implement on premise solutions or hybrid scenarios. Through state-of-the-art disaster recovery mechanisms, you ensure business continuity even in the event of a disaster. As a subject matter expert, you and your team provide 24/7 IT and user support.

Current focus: SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA
We operate the SAP systems of more than 300 companies. This makes us one of the largest and most experienced SAP operations specialists in the German-speaking world. Currently, the most important topic for our customers is the transformation to SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA. You support here with your.
You are responsible for SAP HANA system operation or complete operation for the customer's SAP S/4HANA landscape or accompany the transformation consulting on process and application level. You have the right solution for technological and operational questions - from database change to S/4HANA migration. You will be responsible for implementation hosting during your SAP S/4HANA implementation project and, once implementation is complete, you will accompany the decision-making process between in-house operation or continuation of the outsourcing model.

Cloud Orchestration

You ensure connectivity between the (cloud) applications of our customers and orchestrate hybrid multi-cloud landscapes with the goal of creating continuous end-to-end processes without silos. For our customers, this means maximum flexibility. For you, it is simply an exciting challenge to implement increasingly heterogeneous IT landscapes from public and private cloud offerings from customer request into reality.
You provide SaaS, PaaS and IaaS (e.g. Azure and SCP) as a managed service and guarantee uninterrupted end-to-end processes across cloud and application boundaries.
Other possible topics for you are, design and operation of cloud and other interfaces, automated job scheduling and monitoring of processes across multiple applications, support in cloud architecture consulting with focus on Microsoft Azure and SAP Cloud Platform. You act as a single point of contact towards the customer.

Your focus is on end-to-end processes
The exciting task is to design end-to-end processes across multiple applications and all cloud reference models. This could be connecting SAP HCM with the cloud solution SuccessFactors to a solution suite for HR that you deliver. Or centrally connecting sales teams or branch offices to central SAP, using SAP Hybris Sales Cloud.

Cloud platforms

Your topic is the operation of arbitrarily scalable, globally available customer systems in the public cloud, for example on Azure. You will ensure that processes and IT organization are securely integrated into the cloud. You support the operation of applications on a cloud infrastructure and advise on migration and operating models. In focus: SAP on Azure. You manage hybrid landscapes from public, private and multi-cloud.

Focus: SAP on Cloud / SAP on Azure
SAP operations are placing ever greater demands on the infrastructure. This applies to global rollouts as well as SAP S/4HANA and real-time data management. In addition, there is the "natural" growth of SAP data due to the digital transformation of many companies. Your job is to operate SAP workloads or even the entire SAP landscape in the cloud. You will also be responsible for global SAP rollouts. You provide security services, for example to protect SAP data exports from unauthorized access, and manage the transformation to SAP HANA or SAP S/4HANA. The development and management of hybrid entry scenarios and the provision of development or training systems in the cloud are also typical areas of work.

The number of possible roles, topics and projects is impressively diverse. Here are just a few concrete examples that offer exciting prospects.

SAP Basis Consultant
You orchestrate larger SAP Basis landscapes on UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms with the databases HANA, MaxDB, Oracle, MSSQL Server, Sybase, and DB2. You advise customers on complex technical challenges and also implement them yourself. Together with your SAP Basis Technology team, you develop system solutions for mission-critical areas with a special focus on data security and encryption technologies. You will be responsible for third level support as well as on-call duties (maximum 2-3 times per year).

Employee in the area of Service Transition
You will be responsible for the operative control of service calls, coordination/tracking of the transition process for service calls, preparation and support of customer appointments. You also ensure the standardization/automation of transition activities and take care of the further development and operational implementation of the transition process. You document processes, support new orders and review our existing service and product portfolio and initiate appropriate innovations. You check the feasibility of new managed cloud services, create prototypes and develop pricing and calculation bases. You are also happy to provide support in presales and participate in internal and external projects.

Technical Consultant Windows/Linux
You are responsible for the installation, configuration and commissioning of server and storage solutions for customer systems in IT outsourcing. You carry out implementation and migration projects and take over the ongoing administration and support of existing system environments. You deal with new technologies in the data center environment and implement them. You optimize and automate existing processes such as patch management or system roll-outs. You record customer requirements and conduct workshops together with our service management.

Solution Manager Managed Cloud Services
You design innovative cloud services and IT operating concepts on the basis of which you create competitive offers with a focus on SAP and Microsoft cloud solutions. Your sales colleagues support you in the entire sales process with inspiring customer presentations and technical presales as well as the preparation and creation of service certificates and framework agreements. You evaluate leads and opportunities for their prospects of success and then focus on the right leads.

Transition Manager / IT Project Manager
You take overall responsibility for the transition of SAP, Microsoft and other IT systems into our data centers, those of the hyperscalers or for the transition of application services (SAP, Microsoft, Own-IP). Already in the presales phase you are an active designer and contact person for our customers and accompany the complete process up to the handover "in time, in budget, in quality" to our service teams. You plan, coordinate and monitor an overall project together with the sub-project managers for all services. You help to shape our service and product portfolio and bring impulses and requirements from our customers and the market into our organization. You further develop our processes to meet the agile requirements of the market.
